Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client based in the Thames Valley Park area of Reading for a Cleaner job in Reading on a temporary basis. The position is expected to continue until the end of July, although there may be the opportunity for the assignment to be extended.
This role offers the opportunity to join an established team providing commercial cleaning services across a variety of facilities. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout office and communal environments while supporting the wider cleaning team.

About the role
The role involves working as part of a team to provide commercial cleaning services across a range of facilities, including but not limited to offices, washrooms and meeting rooms.
Duties include:
- Carrying out cleaning tasks to ensure agreed standards are maintained across all office and communal areas.
- Ensuring any repairs noticed during cleaning duties are reported to the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Providing a timely response to any service shortfalls identified by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Carrying out additional or special cleaning tasks as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor, using equipment and chemicals appropriate to the task.
- Ensuring adequate stocks of consumables are available within nominated cleaning stores.
- Submitting requests for replenishment to the Cleaning Supervisor in a timely manner when required.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment across the facilities covered by the cleaning team
