We are interested in candidates who have experience operating either a Loading Shovel or a 360 machine. Previous experience within the Waste Management industry is essential for this role.

About the role
As a Machine Operator, your duties will include:
- Operating various plant and machinery safely.
- Safely moving waste around the site.
- Self-managing your workload to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner.
- Carrying out any other associated tasks as required.
The role is based at the employer’s main disposal site in Theale, where safe working practices and efficient operation of plant and machinery are essential.
About you
To be considered for this Machine Operator role, you will have:
- Experience operating plant and machinery.
- Experience operating either a Loading Shovel or a 360 machine.
- Previous experience within the Waste Management industry.
- A valid NPORS or CPCS qualification is beneficial but not essential.
- The ability to prioritise and self-manage your workload.
- A can-do attitude, always doing the right thing rather than the easy thing.
- A team-player approach with a willingness to assist other departments where required.
