An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join an industry and market leading business, based from the Regional Head Office in Didcot. This HGV Class 1 Driver trunking role in Didcot involves operating trunk runs between different depots across the South of England.

About the role
As part of this HGV Class 1 Driver trunking role in Didcot, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport goods between designated depot locations. The role includes assisting with loading and unloading at your end destination, ensuring all goods are handled appropriately.
You will be required to maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and reporting any incidents or delays. Adherence to company policies and procedures is essential, particularly regarding safety, delivery protocols, and customer service standards.
This role operates across a range of shift times with the following pay structure:
- Hours worked between 06:00 – 18:00: £19.24 per hour
- Hours worked between 18:00 – 22:00: £22.13 per hour
- Hours worked between 22:00 – 06:00: £24.05 per hour
- Overtime after 45 hours: £28.86 per hour
About you
To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Driver trunking role in Didcot, you must hold a valid and in-date CPC. Applicants should have no more than 6 points on their licence.
You will need to be physically fit and capable, as manual work is involved, including loading and unloading. Previous experience in a similar role is required, along with a minimum of 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience.
