About the role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will play an important role in the day-to-day warehouse and distribution operation. Working as part of the wider team, you will be responsible for moving stock safely and efficiently while supporting other warehouse activities when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Loading and unloading containers
- Assisting with picking and packing duties where required
- Helping with stock checks and inventory-related tasks
- Completing any other associated warehouse duties as required
The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work efficiently within a busy logistics and distribution environment. Alongside forklift duties, you will support general warehouse operations to help ensure the smooth running of the site.
About you
To be considered for this Counterbalance Forklift Driver job in Abingdon, you should have previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and be comfortable working within a warehouse environment.
Requirements include:
- A valid and in-date Counterbalance licence is beneficial but not essential
- A minimum of one year of consecutive Counterbalance Forklift operating experience is essential
- Physically fit and capable due to the physical nature of the role
