You will be responsible for delivering goods to customers safely and efficiently, providing a professional service throughout each delivery.

About the role
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and on time while ensuring customers receive a professional and helpful service throughout each delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver goods to customers safely and on time
- Load and unload the vehicle
- Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate with warehouse colleagues and customers regarding deliveries
- Carry out routine vehicle checks
- Report vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
- Ensure goods are transported safely and securely
- Follow all road traffic regulations and company procedures
- Provide a professional and helpful service to customers
The role requires applicants to be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting, as these are part of the physical requirements of the position.
About you
Candidates must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
The successful candidate will have:
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
- Previous commercial driving or warehouse experience would be advantageous
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
- Good standard of spoken and written English
Due to the early start times, applicants must be able to reliably commute to Exeter.
