About the role
In this HGV Class 1 Driver job in Exeter, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to designated locations. The role includes:
- Safely operating the vehicle in line with all regulations and company standards
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods when required
- Maintaining accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Adhering to company policies relating to safety, delivery procedures, and customer service
Working Days, Hours & Salary
- Sunday – Thursday, with 1 mid-week day off
- £19.24 for hours between 06:00 – 18:00
- £22.13 for hours between 18:00 – 22:00
£24.05 for hours between 22:00 – 06:00 - £28.86 overtime after 48 hours
- Start times between 5pm and 6pm
- 1-hour paid break
