About the role
In this Logistics Inbound Operator job in Weybridge, you will be responsible for managing inbound shipment schedules and maintaining accurate logistics records. Key duties include:
- Scheduling arrival times and quantities from overseas factories in line with the order book
- Monitoring and reporting on all movements of goods
- Communicating with factories to control inbound haulage and escalating any issues
- Planning direct deliveries to customers, including booking slot management alongside the Order Management team
- Liaising with overseas factories, 3PL warehouses, and sales departments for intake planning
- Maintaining efficient import shipping records and databases
- Providing accurate lead time and delivery information to relevant departments
- Delivering prompt and accurate product arrival updates to the Sales department
