About the role

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing daily freight forwarding operations while ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all processes. You will use different systems to track orders and containers, ensuring visibility and control throughout the supply chain.

A key part of the role involves supervising a team of Freight Forwarders, supporting their day-to-day activities and maintaining performance standards. You will arrange couriers to collect orders from different sites and coordinate the delivery of goods via couriers to meet customer expectations.

You will also ensure that the correct documentation is in place for Customs clearances, maintaining compliance with relevant procedures. The role includes producing invoices to customers and clients, as well as raising and resolving any issues or queries relating to invoices.

Handling customer communication is essential, including dealing with queries and managing any complaints in a professional manner. In addition, you will carry out any other ad hoc duties as required to support the wider team and business operations.

About you

To be considered for this Freight Forwarding Team Leader job in Slough, you must have valid Right to Work documents. Previous experience in Freight Forwarding is essential, along with proven experience as a team leader.

Korean speaking candidates would be preferred; however, this is not essential. You should be comfortable working in a busy logistics environment and capable of managing both operational tasks and team responsibilities effectively.
