Our client are responsible for distributing all food and drink orders to patients staying in the hospital. This requires an exceptional level of customer service, as the role can be patient facing. The successful candidates will be responsible for collecting evening meals from the canteen areas of the hospital and delivering them to various areas throughout the building.

This will involve taking a food & drink station up to a ward and distributing the correct orders to the hospital staff to pass on to patients. You will be responsible for ensuring the food is placed in the correct areas of the trolley (heated/chilled areas) – and that the meals are served to an exceptional standard. Training will be provided.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will be polite, well presented and MUST be respectful to patients at all times. Please consider the nature of the location when applying.

Due to the location of the role, you will be in contact with both members of the public, hospital staff and patients. This can involve performing your duties around vulnerable and sick patients. A DBS check is required for all candidates working on the premises. We are able to complete DBS checks for all new candidates following an onsite interview and induction. A 3 year UK address history is essential

A good level of written and spoken English is essential as candidates will be required to complete a level 2 food hygiene course which can be organised by the client once on site. Ideally candidates will already have a level 2 food safety qualification.
