About the role

Working Hours/Days/Pay

  • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
  • Weekend Availability to attend shows (Minimum 4+ per year)
  • £28,000-£30,000 per annum based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on venue selection, catering options, and event themes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to secure necessary resources and services for each event.
  • Manage budgets and timelines efficiently, ensuring all aspects of the event are delivered within the agreed parameters.
  • Upsell additional services or products to clients to enhance their event experience while maximising revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections of venues to ensure they meet the required standards for events.
  • Provide on-site coordination during events, overseeing staff and ensuring that everything runs according to plan.
  • Gather feedback post-event to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement in future events.
  • Attending shows as/when required

About you

Previous experience in event coordination or a related field within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Experience in guest services or fundraising events would be advantageous.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A background in Automotive/motor trade operations is beneficial but not essential.
  • MUST HAVE FULL DRIVING LICENSE and ACCESS TO OWN CAR (To drive to various shows as/when required)
