Class 2 Skip Driver
Sleaford
Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive skip loaders and RoRo vehicles performing domestic and commercial waste collection. This involves delivering and collecting skips to and from customer locations, ensuring proper loading and unloading, and adhering to all relevant driving and safety regulations. Being a Class 2 Skip driver is a physically demanding role, and you’ll need to be comfortable with early starts and happy working outside all year round and in all weathers.

About the role
Duties as a Class 2 Skip Driver
- Drive and operate a skip lorry & RoRo vehicles and assisting with skip placement
- Safely loading and unloading skips, ensuring they are properly secured for transport
- Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to keep vehicles in top condition
- Provide excellent service and address any client inquiries professionally
About you
Skills
- Digital tachograph card & CPC card essentials
- Valid Full Class 2 UK Driving Licence
- Good team working skills and good communication skills
- Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
- Proven experience in skip/RoRo operations within the waste sector preferred
