About the Temporary Office Administrator job

In this Temporary Office Administrator job, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day office operations and ensuring everything runs efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Taking and arranging deliveries
  • Handling and prioritising incoming correspondence, emails, and calls, redirecting or responding as necessary
  • Providing support for meetings and training events, including arranging lunch as necessary
  • Welcoming new employees and ensuring they have all necessary starter materials
  • Supporting front-of-house activities such as stationery inventory and ordering, welfare provisions, preparing for site events and visitors, arranging Sainsbury’s deliveries, and stocking kitchens
  • Arranging contractors and service providers to visit site when needed and acting as their point of contact
  • Providing basic support for the finance team, such as credit control
  • Completing any ad-hoc administrative work as required

Essential

  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple activities
  • Very good eye for detail and ability to follow procedures exactly
  • GCSE English and Maths qualifications, or equivalent

  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change
  • Responsibility for the quality of your own work

Desirable

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role
  • Experience of working with SOPs and following complex processes
  • Customer service experience
