Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for an IPAF Operator job in Battersea on behalf of our client.This short-term opportunity is suited to a qualified IPAF Operator with valid IPAF 3a/3b certification and experience operating scissor lifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mobile elevating work platforms safely and efficiently while supporting site operations and maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements.

About the role
As an IPAF Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of IPAF-approved mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) while supporting activities on site.
Key duties include:
- Operating IPAF-approved mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) in accordance with safety regulations and project requirements
- Conducting pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is safe and fully functional
- Assisting with the setup, positioning and stabilisation of MEWPs on site
- Supporting the operations team by assisting with the installation of the fascia
- Carrying out routine maintenance checks and reporting faults or issues promptly
- Working closely with site teams to maintain safe working environments
- Following health and safety procedures and site-specific protocols at all times
This IPAF Operator job in Battersea requires a practical and safety-focused approach, with the ability to work efficiently throughout the assignment.
About you
To be considered for this IPAF Operator position, you should have:
- Valid IPAF certification for operating MEWPs (3a/3b)
- Proven experience operating scissor lifts
- Previous experience within construction, maintenance or industrial environments preferred
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relating to elevated work platforms and heavy machinery
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
