Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client in the HX1 area for a Cleaner in Halifax on a temporary basis. The role involves carrying out cleaning duties as directed, responding to reactive cleaning requests, and ensuring all cleaning activities are completed to agreed standards. The successful candidate will help uphold company values while meeting contractual deliverables in a safe and professional manner.
This Cleaner in Halifax role requires a methodical approach, strong timekeeping, and previous workplace cleaning experience. Candidates must also be able to read and speak English to ensure safe working practices are followed at all times

About the role
The successful candidate will undertake a range of cleaning responsibilities across the site. Duties will include carrying out cleaning tasks to agreed standards while ensuring workloads are prioritised and completed efficiently.
Responsibilities include maintaining good housekeeping standards for equipment, consumables, and storage areas. Any repairs identified during cleaning duties must be reported promptly, and any service shortfalls should receive a timely response.
The Cleaner in Halifax will also carry out additional or special cleans as instructed and ensure adequate stock levels of consumables are maintained within nominated cleaning stores. Where necessary, replenishment requests should be submitted in a timely manner.
Candidates will be expected to use cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with training provided. The role also involves liaising with customers and clients in a professional manner and escalating issues where required to ensure resolution.
Health and safety is an important part of the role. The successful applicant must always work safely and raise any hazards or risks identified during duties
