– as part of the catering team, you break up the day for the patients, who sometimes are keen to speak or interact with other people. You have a duty of care/responsibility to be approachable and helpful at all times
– reliability is key. it is essential that the hospital has staff in on the days they are due to work and on time.
You will be required to attend an interview at the hospital, where you will be asked to fill in a health & safety questionnaire, a Covid risk assessment form, and in some instances, a basic English written test.
Once successful, you will be taken to get an ID badge and your uniform.
At the end of your first week, a DBS certificate is ordered (which is a requirement for working within the hospital) and this is deducted from your first payslip.
Working 5 days a week on a rota basis 7am-3pm
Candidates are expected to be flexible to work the occasional weekend, on a rota basis.
